WE ARE HERE TO HELP
Riverina Speech Pathology is a vibrant Wagga-based private speech pathology practice serving Riverina Region since 2010.
We offer a wide-range of services including individual speech and language therapy, social communication groups, SOS Approach for children who are fussy/picky eaters and parent coaching. Our clients vary in age from pre-school children through to adults.
We understand that adults and children are different and we tailor our therapy sessions to accommodate individual’s needs and abilities.

The team’s experience allows us to focus our speech therapy to support and develop good communication regardless of whether we are helping adults or preschoolers, native English speakers or clients from overseas. Our clients reap the benefits of the teamwork of a group of highly trained speech therapists with a broad range of experience.

The staff at Riverina Speech Pathology believes in a team approach to therapy and therefore encourages collaboration with parents, teachers and other health/educational professionals, when applicable, to provide the most encouraging and successful environment for clients.

Our continual in house and extra professional development training to our staff ensures that we are able to provide the latest and most researched assessment and intervention techniques to our clients.

NANCY KAUR
Principal Speech-Language Pathologist, Clinical Supervisor, Feeding Specialist & Director
Parneet (Nancy) Kaur, owner and founder of Riverina Speech Pathology
Nancy is an experienced Principal clinician who is committed to providing high-standards of clinical service provision in speech pathology. She completed her Bachelors of Applied Health- Speech Pathology from Charles Sturt University (2004). She developed valuable expertise and experience in a range of clinical skills and knowledge having worked in the private healthcare institutions in culturally diverse and multi-ethnic parts of Sydney. Nancy decided to move back to the regional area in 2009 to serve the community. She then opened up Riverina Speech Pathology in 2010.
Nancy Kaur, is the owner and director of Riverina Speech Pathology, Wagga Wagga. She is also a Practicing Member of Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) and has an extensive experience in clinical knowledge.
Nancy created an ideal speech pathology service that is flexible, innovative and offers highly skilled speech pathologists. Most importantly, Nancy created a service in which people feel comfortable and are being heard. She has also ensured that the practice policies are in line with the clients needs.
Nancy is quite dedicated to staff & parent/caregiver training and support. She is also involved in providing lectures to medical students, general practitioners, dentists and other allied health professionals in Riverina Region.

She is fluent in Hindi and Punjabi. Therefore, Nancy has had an extensive experience assessing and treating clients with communication difficulties in these languages as well.
Nancy has developed high level interpersonal skills and is able to liaise with people from a diverse range of backgrounds. She is able to assist clients to better understand the partnerships within various healthcare professionals/ associations in the community sector in achieving greater communication outcomes.
Nancy is certified in the Hanen program It Takes Two To Talk, Zones of Regulations, Lidcombe Program, SOS Approach for children who are fussy eaters; Transgender Voice, Play Skills, LSVT-LOUD , Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS), Selective Mutism amongst other credentials. She and her team have extensive experience with a broad range of communication, literacy and learning difficulties, including children with autism and developmental delay, and adults with voice, swallowing & cognitive difficulties that may arise from medical conditions (e.g. Stroke, Parkinson’s), or disability.
Outside of work, Nancy enjoys connecting with nature, painting, fitness boxing and listing to podcasts.
